Used Clothing Drive for ARC of Texas

It's time to clean out your closets! There is no better reason to start your spring cleaning than the ARC of Texas. The ARC of Texas is the oldest and largest nonprofit, volunteer organization in the state committed to creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be included in their communities and to make the choices which affect their lives. The ARC supports families, advances public policies, provides training programs, and builds a statewide network of advocates.

We will be collecting clothes at our LHAECPTA Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 15th. Please bring your gently used clothing in a plastic bag. This is a great opportunity to clear out some closet clutter and do some good for the community!

Nursery Needs

It has been brought to our attention that the nursery at Highlands Christian Church (where we hold our General Meetings) is in need of a few things. The infant room needs bumper pads, crib sheets and changing pad covers. Donated items can be new or gently used. Also, all age groups in the nursery, infants to age 5, are in need of toys. Take some time to clean out a few toys that are still in good shape to donate to the nursery. It has been requested that the toys donated should be smaller due to lack of storage space. Anything and everything donated to the nursery will be greatly appreciated.
