Who? The children and families of the oncology unit at Children’s Hospital

Why? LHAECPTA member Heidi Gerst is a nurse on the oncology unit of Children’s Hospital and she has requested our help. They just moved into their new tower at Children’s and no longer have VCR’s in the rooms. They could use movies for all ages of toddlers and adults- used or new.

What? Please clean out your DVD collection and donate your gently used movies for all ages of toddlers and adults that are gathering dust, or purchase a new one of your child’s favorites. Find those movies that you will likely never watch again or the ones your kids have outgrown- or grown tired of, and give them a new life helping cancer patients and their families.

When? We will be collecting DVD’s at the February general meeting at Highlands Christian Church and the Heart Healthy Fun event Tuesday, February 16th from 3:30 to 5:30pm at LH North Rec Center.
