How do I join the LHAECPTA?
Anyone may join the LHAECPTA. Although we are organized through the Richardson School District,
you do not have to live within the boundaries to be a member. Contact
Karen Behrman if you have any questions about joining, or fill out
the online membership form

How much are the dues?
Yearly dues are $35.00. Dues are used to fund activities for children and other
monthly events. A portion of the budget is typically donated to the
school district every year. After January 1st, dues decrease to $22.00
for new members.
When does the LHAECPTA meet?
The LHAECPTA has a monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of every month, from September through May.
The meeting is located at Highlands Christian Church
at 9949 McCree Road.
Is there a nursery available?
A nursery is available for all preschool children
from infants through 5 years of age. Nursery charges are $5 for each
child with a maximum of $10. Payment must be made with cash or check when you
drop off your child. A Nursery Liability
Release Form must be completed by all members and guests using our nursery. Be sure to
complete this form and return it with your membership form. Also, please review and retain important
nursery guidelines.

How can I help other members?
The Sunshine Committee coordinates the delivery of food to moms
(or dads!) who need support from our group. One of the wonderful benefits of
membership in the PTA is our Meals-for-Moms service. Whenever moms need time away
from the kitchen, such as after the birth of a baby or during an illness, our group pitches in
to take meals to the family. Participation is strictly voluntary and much appreciated. No
one requires that you actually cook these meals, just drop them off! Store bought
is just as appreciated as homemade, and very often, you get to peek at a brand new baby as a reward!
