Neighborhood Playgroups Are you looking for opportunities to meet other parents and children in your neighborhood? Then, plan on attending one of our neighborhood playgroups this year. These playgroups have been formed using the public elementary school attendance zones. The goal is to get to know your neighbors. If you are planning to attend your neighborhood school, neighborhood playgroups are a great way to meet others who will there too. If you are planning to attend private school, these playgroups help your children make neighborhood friends. Lake Highlands - Meet at the LHE playground along Lakemere each Monday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. Contact Cindy Engel at 214.348.6835 or cindita_e@yahoo.com for more information. Merriman Park - MPE Neighborhood Playgroup meets 1st and 3rd Fridays at 4:00 p.m. at the MPE Playground. Age-specific playgroups will hold additional playdates and socials….please contact Angela Klein (klein9902@sbcglobal.net or 214.503.1630) for more information and to be added to an email distribution list to remain up-to-date about upcoming playgroups and socials, as well as changes to the 1st and 3rd Friday dates. ***March playground dates will be March 7th and 28th (since the 3rd Friday is during Spring Break). Come hang out with your neighbors and play with friends from your neighborhood!!
