LHAECPTA operates an on-site co-op nursery for all General Meetings. The
nursery is staffed with professional sitters from Seeking Sitters.
The children are grouped by age (as of Sept 1st),
and each room has age appropriate toys. All children– except infants–are provided
with a snack. In addition, exciting nursery programs are provided for children
ages 2 to 5.
How much does it cost?
Nursery charges for each meeting are $5 per child with a family
maximum of $10. Payment must be made with cash or check when you
drop off your child.
How do I reserve a space for my child?
You MUST have a Nursery Liability Release form on file. The
form is available here. Also, please
be prepared to leave a cell phone number on the sign-in forms upon drop-off.
Leave a message with your child’s name and date of birth (not age), your name,
and your phone number. To cancel your nursery reservation and avoid being
charged, call the reservation voicemail by 7:00 a.m. the day of the meeting.

Guidelines
Each child must have an updated
Nursery Liability Release form on
file. If you have any questions or need further information please contact
Amy. Children are welcome in our meetings. After all, this is what PTA is
ultimately for—our children. But we do want to respect the needs of our speakers
and members to hear the program. We provide a comfortable area in the hallway
where you may sit with a fussy child and still hear.
During each General Meeting, we provide entertainment
and crafts for the children in the nursery.
