March Children's Activity

Please join us for a Family Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st at 9:00 AM at the Lake Highlands North Rec Center. We'll have Easter Egg Hunts for each age group, as well as drinks and brunch foods. To participate, please drop off two-dozen filled eggs per child by Friday, March 30 at either the home of:

There will be a box to place your eggs inside on the porch. Please include the age group (based on playgroup) on the outside of the bag, and do not include chocolate or other "melty" fillings; however, fillings other than candy are always welcomed (stickers, bouncy balls, bubbles, etc.)

 

Home Tour and Auction
Save the date! The Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA is hosting its eighth annual Home Tour, Brunch and Auction on Wednesday, April 11. Come out and enjoy touring FOUR unique homes in different areas of Lake Highlands. This year’s "Spring Splendor" is sure to be a great place to mingle, nab some fantastic Lake Highlands swag, and support the community. The tours run from 8:45 - 10:45 a.m. followed by brunch and an auction from 10:30 am to noon at Highland Oaks Church of Christ. Letter from the President

Spring is fully underway and we've all been hard at work for preparations for our Home Tour and Auction. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and gives our organization the funds we need to put on all of our great children activities, adults night out, speakers for meetings, and more! We have four fabulous homes this year who will give you great ideas of things you can do at your own home. We've gathered some awesome auction items this year including a 2011 Dallas Mavericks Championship team basketball signed by the whole team, a year's worth of Chick Fil A, as well as favorites such as the KC Pool Membership. We are also going with a spring splendor theme and again are inviting our attendees to wear those lovely hats! We will have professional babysitters available (reservations required - please see the nursery section of our site for more details) so make plans to attend now! Tickets are being sold by our home tour committee and I also have some that I can sell. Thanks for supporting our PTA.
