KICK-OFF PARTY! Calling everyone who loves LHAECPTA, along with family, friends, neighbors, & anyone you know who might be interested in joining LHAECPTA! Saturday, September 18th, 9:30am- 11:30am We are now hard at work planning the Kickoff Party to get to know new and old members. Our theme this year will be ?A Storybook Year.? We look forward to seeing you there, and make sure to invite your friends! Information tables will be set up and staffed by members of the LHAECPTA to answer questions, provide membership forms, and explain adult interest groups and children?s activities that are scheduled for the 2010-2011 year. We challenge everyone reading this article to bring a friend, a neighbor, or someone in your aerobics class at the gym who has a child from birth to age 6. Everyone will enjoy the activities we have planned. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and crafts, and our local fire truck. Also, there will be plenty of refreshments for everyone! While LHAECPTA is associated with the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) and the National PTA, our organization has members attending or planning to attend both public and private schools. We also have parents who work full or part-time as well as those who stay at home. Our general meetings and children's activities give you a chance to meet many people in our community. Our playgroups and adult interest groups give you a chance to meet people who share your specific interests in a small group setting. Click here to enroll.
